Our little convenience-type stores have staples like cereals, cooking oil, limited canned goods, milk, eggs, bread, juices (choices limited), beer, soft drinks, munchies, ice cream, etc. For better wine/alcohol choices, buy in Zihua. Ditto for meats, etc. There are always fruit and vegetables available in the village but choices will vary.
