I today followed Rob's advice and let the developers know that the $5000 US we spend on our visits each year which now goes to the many,many restaurants,hotels,small businesses,taxi drivers,vendors,market stalls,etc. will likely be spent elsewhere in coming years if this goes forward.(We strongly feel the same about the pier) Maybe it's time for us to re-consider our couple of vacation trips each year --which we have always loved--and think about other destinations than our beloved Zihuat.
