Yeah! I love the potholes myself. It means no high speed crashes. In the village itself our streets are not paved at all. This means cool streets year round and good water absorbtion during heavy rains. (No flooding) Plus we get to rake the streets in the morning and make 'Japonese Gardens'. The raking could get rather irritating if the streets were paved.
