I like the approach some of the Mexican men use. Wade out into the water with just a hook on some fishing line, spin the hook over their heads like you would a lasso and throw the line out into the water. Now, that's basic fishing.
I have also wanted to try throwing a net as many of the surf fishermen do. But I see an image of the net catching me and not the fish.
